Have you ever wondered what would it take for a player to be the record league title holder in Europe’s top 5 football leagues; The English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1. With four of the five leagues having recently wrapped up the season after a recent resumption following the lockdown, we can now review what Liverpool’s EPL win after a 30-year-long wait means, what Real Madrid’s 34th Spanish league victory symbolises, Bayern Munich’s coronation as Bundesliga champions for an eighth successive season and 30th overall and Paris Saint Germain’s early title win having only played 27 of the 38 games. Serie A continues, with most teams having four games to play, with Juventus set to win an unprecedented ninth consecutive top title, even more impressive considering their woeful style of play this season.
