The rise of neoliberalism and the anti-human, military-industrial complex

Capitalism is a form of violence that is both parasitic and exploitative in and of itself, which also produces more violence through its direct and indirect consequences. Indeed, globalized neoliberal capitalism is perpetual politico-economic and socio-cultural viciousness and savagery, where the top 1% of the wealthiest people in the world have a disproportionate share of 99% of the world’s capital, political influence, and means of production; a dystopian nightmare in which intersectional class and social contradictions abound, in ways that manufacture other forms of contradictions and inequalities.
In particular, when today 99% of the population are rendered second-class citizens, and lifelong cogs of the capitalist machine that only provides them with just enough to keep them alive and ‘content’ until they return to work the next day, the pursuit of the socialist utopia becomes alluring once more.
